Dan is an actor, comedian, writer and presenter who has appeared on numerous television shows.
He currently plays PE Teacher "Mr Nunn" (series regular) in the award winning comedy drama 4 O'Clock Club on CBBC and is a regular panel guest on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff and The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC).
After graduating from University, Dan broke onto the comedy circuit as one half of the double-act Electric Forecast, with Steve Marsh. The pair were soon spotted by a television producer and cast as the leads in the long running, hit series Big Cook Little Cook on Cbeebies. Dan & Steve went on to present numerous shows together including Crash Test Dummies (Sky1), Big Brother’s Big Mouth (E4), Space Hoppers (CBBC), Celebrities Uncensored (Channel 5) and Sky’s Daily TV Guide. As actors they appeared together in Scoop (CBBC) Kingdom (ITV1),
Hotel Trubble (CBBC) and 30 Second Cinema (a comedy sketch show for E4).
Dan's solo career includes authoring & presenting the BBC3 documentary F*** Off I’m Ginger and the movie review show 35mm (Sky Movies). He was a key cast member in the BAFTA nominated sketch show FIT (CBBC) and played ‘Philip Hall’ in Hollyoaks (Channel 4).
On the stand-up circuit, Dan has had great success and his solo show was nominated for ‘DAVE's Best Show’ at the ‘Leicester Comedy Festival’ in 2012, followed by critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Dan is also a commissioned writer and recently had a sitcom script commissioned by Channel 4.
Christmas 2017 saw him co-starring in his first pantomime, playing 'Smee' in Peter Pan, at he Floral Pavilion, to rave reviews.
