Tiernan is the resident MC at Fat Tuesday Comedy Club in Islington, which runs alternate Tuesdays nights. The club has been recommended by Time Out, Metro, Guardian, and London Lite and has attracted sets from such comedians as Frank Skinner, Simon Amstell, Mark Thomas, Stephen Merchant and Stewart Lee, thanks to its great atmosphere and lovely audiences.
Tiernan set up and ran the first ever Twitter Comedy Night in June 2009. The experiment/gig gained international press coverage, with more than 7,500 tweeters watching the gig unfold live online at the same time 'the mad experiment was definitely a success' , The Guardian
Tiernan is also a talented artist (good at sketching, cartoon work, oil & clay), a surprisingly good break dancer and very knowledgeable about music, especially hip hop.
