Tiernan is the resident MC at Fat Tuesday Comedy Club in Islington, which runs alternate Tuesdays nights.  The club has been recommended by Time Out, Metro, Guardian, and London Lite and has attracted sets from such comedians as Frank Skinner, Simon Amstell, Mark Thomas, Stephen Merchant and Stewart Lee, thanks to its great atmosphere and lovely audiences.

Tiernan set up and ran the first ever Twitter Comedy Night in June 2009. The experiment/gig gained international press coverage, with more than 7,500 tweeters watching the gig unfold live online at the same time 'the mad experiment was definitely a success' , The Guardian

Tiernan is also a talented artist (good at sketching, cartoon work, oil & clay), a surprisingly good break dancer and very knowledgeable about music, especially hip hop.

Quotes from 28 Years Later at Edinburgh 2009:

“Good strong dependable comedy…Douieb is immensely likeable” – National Student Review

“Springs onto the stage with all the confidence of a seasoned performer sure of his material - and he doesn't disappoint…Tiernan Douieb's comedy is feel good without saccharin, achieving that rare but effective illusion of being a mate. Tiernan Douieb

“Small in stature, not in talent” - The Scotsman

After completing a Drama Degree at Kent University, Tiernan quickly began earning a living as a stand-up comic. He’s currently one of the youngest, most sort after MCs working in the UK, with his engaging, fast paced and energetic style.

Tiernan co-starred and co-wrote the dark comedy sketch show 'Tea and Cake' with Lauren Shearing, which played the Edinburgh Festival 2007 and received rave reviews -
"Genuine comedy gold" [The Metro]. The pair returned to Edinburgh the following year with ‘Tea and Cake II: In The Gateau’. Then in 2009 Tiernan branched out on his own with his debut solo show, ‘28 Years Later’.  He has also performed in ‘Comedy Club 4 Kids’ - a stand-up show for 6-11 year olds and in autumn 2009 he supported Jim Jeffries on tour.

Tiernan’s television work continues to grow. As an actor he has a great talent for accents and voices and starred in the sketch show ‘Gagging For It’ (HomeChoice TV, 1 series) the sitcom pilot ‘House Group’ and played Bryan in Hustle Film’s ‘Mother Love’.  As a presenter he has worked for Virgin television, Orange Digital and recently filmed two pilots for CBBC, ‘What’s In The Box’ and ‘One 4 All’. He’s also appeared on many talking heads shows and is in great demand as a TV warm-up.
