As a former English literature teacher, Geoff is a refreshing and humorous commentator on any issues related to education. He's also emerging as a vibrant writer, having contributed to comedy shows on BBC Radio 2 & 4 and written comedy sketches for MTV. In 2007 & 2008 he was a commissioned writer for Nuts TV and currently writes a regular column for FHM magazine.

Last year Geoff had a very successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe with his second solo show, “The Shocking Truth About Men And Women”. He received four 4 star reviews, including the following praise from John Nicholson at The Mirror:

“His great achievement with this show is to connect with everyone there - I doubt there was anyone who couldn't recognize themselves or their partner's attitudes at some point. This is testament to his writing skill as much as his performing skill, and its no surprise to learn that he's worked on scripts for TV and radio shows. … Throughout the hour he was funny without being aggressive; witty without being aloof. All of which goes to suggest that Geoff Norcott is a comedian with a big future ahead of him”. The Mirror 2009
